Room Description
Gioco has two fabulous private party rooms. Our 'Ballroom' can accommodate 35 to 70 people, while our more intimate 'Speakeasy' is perfect for a party of 14 to 36 people. Designed by partner Jerry Kleiner, the former mob front and Speakeasy has been refurbished to its original state with dramatic ceilings, adorned mahogany accented walls, exposed brick, back lit wine bottles, antique chairs and an open kitchen.

Named one of Chicago Magazines "Best New Restaurants" as well as one of Bon Appetit's "Favorite Places in 2000", Gioco is a hip, Italian eatery and the latest addition to the March©, Red Light and Opera family of restaurants. Located at 1312 South Wabash, just minutes away from McCormick Place Convention Center, Gioco is in an area of the South Loop once dominated by speakeasies and other prohibition-era establishments including Al Capone's headquarters.
