Restaurant Description
Mac's Steakhouse, a stylish and contemporary version of the classic American steakhouse, features world-class cuisine in a sophisticated setting. Formerly owned and operated by Reststar Hospitality Group, Mac's Steakhouse was taken over by steakhouse veterans, executive chef Ron Gelish and general manager Scott Young in December 2007. The partners, who first joined together at Rothmann's Steakhouse, vow to revive Mac's Steakhouse by bringing superb hospitality and excellence in food, wine and beverage to this Huntington, New York restaurant.
Spanning 7,000-square-feet, Mac's Steakhouse features a distinct dining room, private wine salon and elegant bar area. Striking elements include: the glass-enclosed wine cellar, which stores more than 1,200 bottles; 150-year-old wood planked floors; circular mahogany staircase; and 100-year-old carved wood doors amid a 10-foot-high entranceway. The longhorn, the signature logo of Mac's Steakhouse, is etched throughout the restaurant on plates, utensils, windows, and extends to contemporary artwork on the walls.
