Restaurant Description
The elements of contemporary design, creative cuisine and connoisseurs of service come together this summer at Hyatt Dulles for the opening of the area's newest restaurant. Hyatt Dulles has just completed a $1.8 million lobby and restaurant transformation. The hotel's new restaurant and lounge, called Elements on Level One will incorporate the elements of earth, fire, water, wood and metal in its Modern American menu and sophisticated décor. An expert culinary team, led by Executive Chef Christopher Bifano, will create the art of cuisine by incorporating the elements with a modern flair. Signature regional offerings ranging from Chesapeake Bay Rockfish to Shenandoah Lamb Chops are designed to enliven the senses: sight, sound, smell, taste and touch. A specially trained wait staff will guide diners through the element-based menu. Upon entering the lobby, the rich mahogany bar can be viewed through wooden sculptures rising from the water, which only enhance the shimmering tile work that accents the restaurants features. Mossy-green velvets, deep-gold satins and chocolate-brown woods envelop the 227-seat space, featuring a wine cellar wall and a floor to ceiling stone fireplace. Walls are adorned with contemporary photography reflecting the theme.
